  15. This document is the result of a survey asking people to detail their
  16. advanced usages of X.500.  It is intended to show how various
  17. organizations are using X.500 in ways which extend the view of X.500
  18. as a "White Pages" service.  This RFC is a product of the Integrated
  19. Directory Services Working Group of the Application and User Services
  20. Areas of the IETF.
  21.  
  22. This memo provides information for the Internet community.  It does
  23. not specify an Internet standard.  Distribution of this memo is
  24. unlimited.

  26. This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list.
  27. Requests to be added to or deleted from the IETF distribution list
  28. should be sent to IETF-REQUEST@CNRI.RESTON.VA.US.  Requests to be added
